Vanessa is an established People and Business Leader with a truly international background. Multilingual, she has over 20 years of experience in International business, extending from Brazil to Europe, the UK and Asia.
For the last 10 years, Vanessa has worked in recruitment and executive search, focusing globally on the Healthcare and Life Science industries. She joined VirdisGroup in 2019, leading the full-cycle management of projects from resourcing, advertising, interviewing, referencing, offer negotiations, placement, and onboarding follow-up. In recent years, she was promoted to act as Senior Consultant and HR Manager/Team Leader, leading a team of Researchers/Delivery Consultants.
With a track record of success, Vanessa has placed and retained top-tier talents, strategically sourcing excellent performers (C-Suite and Executive Leaders). Her experience has enabled her to develop a solid transferable skillset, technical gravitas, understanding and empathy with clients and candidates.
Reporting to the CEO, she acts as Senior Consultant and Head of Marketing & Communication, focusing on expanding the business globally, heading up business development and marketing campaigns and is responsible for the company’s international events.
Vanessa is a certified Executive and Business Coach and holds an MBA, a dual MSc in HR Management & Digital Marketing and has a BA honours degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management.
Out of the office, Vanessa is Board Member of AST – Turner Syndrome Association of Catalonia. Based in Barcelona, the association offers support and up-to-date information to patients, families and friends affected by Turner Syndrome and the many aspects of living with the condition.
